The 350Z replaced the Skyline GT-R as the car for Nissan's factory and customer teams in the Super GT's GT 500 class. The cars used are heavily modified and had a longer nose and tail (requiring the production of the Type-E homologation special), carbon fiber bodywork, and a tube chassis. In 2004, Nismo won the GT500 championship.
VeilSide produces a bodykit called "Fortune" which replaces all body panels except the roof. It is currently available for the Mazda RX-7 FD3S, Toyota Supra Mark IV, Acura NSX, Toyota MR-S, and the Nissan Skyline V35/V36. The Fortune kit ranges from $4,500 USD for the MRS to $15,000 for the RX-7. [3]

The JGTC (Japanese Grand Touring Championship) [1] was established in 1993 [2] [3] by the Japan Automobile Federation (JAF) via its subsidiary company the GTA (GT Association), replacing the defunct All Japan Sports Prototype Championship for Group C cars and the Japanese Touring Car Championship for Group A touring cars, which instead would adopt the supertouring formula.
It was unveiled as the replacement for the Ultima GTR on 9 April 2015. [1] It is sold both as a kit car, which the buyers build themselves, or as a complete vehicle, built at the factory, and is available in either a coupé or a convertible bodystyle. The range-topping supercharged LS-powered model is reported to cost £95,995 ($122,332). [2]
