The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (Hindi: कौशल विकास और उद्यमशीलता मंत्रालय) is a ministry of the Government of India which came into existence on 9 November 2014 [2] and gazetted on 8 December 2014.
The National Skill Development Agency (NSDA) attempts to increase Employability of Youth in India. It is a fully autonomous body, constituted with the approval of Union Cabinet of India . [ 1 ] On May 9, 2013, [ 2 ] the Union Cabinet gave its nod to form NSDA.

The Government of India has provisioned ₹ 500 crore (US$58 million) for the scheme. The objective of the scheme is to train 0.5 million people in urban areas per annum from 2016.
The National Education Mission (Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan) is an overarching programme for the school education sector extending from pre-school to class 12, launched in 2018. It was allocated a budget of ₹ 385.72 billion (US$4.5 billion) in the 2019 Interim Union Budget of India .
