Pennsylvania Railroad 1361 is a 4-6-2 K4 "Pacific" type steam locomotive built in May 1918 by the Pennsylvania Railroad's (PRR) Juniata Shops in Altoona, Pennsylvania. It hauled mainline passenger trains in Pennsylvania and commuter trains in Central New Jersey on the PRR until its retirement from revenue service in 1956.
The Williamsport and North Branch Railroad was a short line that operated in north-central Pennsylvania between 1872 and 1937. After a long struggle to finance its construction, it was completed in 1893. It derived most of its freight revenue from logging and to a certain extent from anthracite coal traffic.

Ralston was founded with the construction of the Northern Central Railroad in the 1840s. This would eventually become the Pennsylvania Railroad. From the beginning, a substantial locomotive terminal was here. The short range of steam locomotives of the time made it a necessity.

The Traverse City, Leelanau and Manistique Railway was dissolved October 31, 1926. The Chambersburg and Gettysburg Electric Railway was dissolved December 21, 1926.
