Legoland (/ ˈ l ɛ ɡ oʊ l æ n d /, trademarked in uppercase as LEGOLAND) is a chain of family amusement parks focusing on the Lego building toy brand. They are owned and operated by the British theme park company Merlin Entertainments , which shares a common owner ( Kirkbi A/S ) with the Lego Group.
This was followed by Legoland Deutschland's Project X – Test Strecke and Legoland Billund's X-treme Racers in 2002. [2] [3] On March 20, 2004, Jungle Coaster opened at Legoland Windsor in the Adventure Land section of the park. Vikings' River Splash was a ride at Legoland Windsor. [1] It opened in 2007, later than expected because of construction delays. The ride was a river rapids ride which is a common attraction in many theme parks. The ride was in the "Land of the Vikings" area of the park. [2]
