Farm to Market Road 408 (FM 408) is a 3.2-mile-long (5.1 km) route in Orange County, connecting Bridge City at FM 1442 (Roundbunch Road) to Orangefield at FM 105 (Orangefield Road). The highway begins at its south end along Miller Drive and travels due north.

Farm to Market Road 2040 (FM 2040) is located in Refugio and Aransas counties. It runs from FM 774 to the Aransas National Wildlife Refuge. FM 2040 was designated on December 17, 1952, on the current route. A 1 mile (1.6 km) extension to SH 239 was proposed on November 25, 1975, but was cancelled on August 31, 1977, due to heavy local opposition.
