The Bradford Common Historic District is a historic district encompassing the former town center of Bradford, now a village of Haverhill, Massachusetts.Centered on the former town common at South Main and Salem Streets, the area served as Bradford's civic and commercial center from about 1750 until its annexation by Haverhill in 1897, and retains architecture from the 18th to early 20th centuries.
Route 114 is a 22.42-mile-long (36.08 km) Massachusetts state route that, while essentially a northwest–southeast route, is signed west–east. It runs from Route 28 in Lawrence to its terminus at Route 129 in Marblehead.
In Haverhill, Routes 113 and 110 follow the north bank of the Merrimack, and meet I-495 at Exit 107. The routes split at Emerson Street, where Route 110 turns northward. Route 113 intersects Route 125 just north of the Basiliere Bridge, which leads into the Bradford section of the city.
The historic district is centered on the junction of Bradford and Union Streets. It extends southeastward along Union Street for a short distance, and northwest to the junction with Water Street. In addition to including the entirety of Bradford Street, it includes houses located on the adjacent roads: Emerald, Freedom, and Watercure Streets.
