The 2025 NBA draft will be the 79th edition of the National Basketball Association's annual draft. Like the 2024 draft , this draft will take place over two nights. The draft will consist of 59 picks as opposed to the full 60 picks due to the New York Knicks losing a second round pick from a free agency violation in 2022.
