Cassidy Township is a township in northern Christian County, Missouri. [1]The organization date and origin of the name of Cassidy Township is unknown, but there was a settlement located here named Cassidy with a post office established in 1884, which was apparently named after a railroad official.
In 2024 up to 40 water lines were found to have lead leakage into the water. [2]The township is planning to add 2 new water storage tanks and fix the leaded water lines by 2026.
