El Tour de Tucson is a road bicycling event held every November in Tucson, Arizona and was started in 1983 by cyclist and president of the Perimeter Bicycling, Richard DeBernardis. The first El Tour attracted nearly 185 riders, while in recent years, between 7,000 and 10,000 cyclists have attended.

El Tour de Tucson is a cycling race that has been happening in Tucson since 1983. The race tends to happen in the month of November, before American Thanksgiving. There are a number of distances available to ride, from 1-mile fun rides to a long distance ride that spans the whole city resulting in 102 miles.
