Cedar Grove, also known as the William Tompkins House, is a historic home located at Cedar Grove, Kanawha County, West Virginia. It was built in 1844, and is a two-story, five-bay, "double pile" rectangular brick house. When built, it had upper and lower verandas across the rear, but these were enclosed about 1892.
The route exits the state into Virginia, running concurrently with Interstate 64 (I-64) east of White Sulphur Springs. Most of US 60's route through West Virginia is part of and even signed in several areas as the Midland Trail, a National Scenic Byway.

Wood County is a county in the U.S. state of West Virginia. As of the 2020 census, the population was 84,296, [1] making it West Virginia's fifth-most populous county. Its county seat is Parkersburg. [2] The county was formed in 1798 from the western part of Harrison County and named for James Wood, governor of Virginia from 1796 to 1799. [3]
