The county treasurer is responsible for collecting taxes. In the case of delinquent taxes, the treasurer may order the sale of real property to pay delinquent taxes. The treasurer also receives distributions of local income and other taxes that are collected by the state.
The Boone County business personal property and mobile home assessments are conducted on the 3rd floor of Boone County’s facility located at 127 W Main Street, Suite 308, Lebanon Indiana. If a building permit was issued, we will be notified by the planning agency.

Prosecutor’s Office. The Office of the Boone County Prosecutor handles thousands of criminal cases every year. These include adult and juvenile crimes ranging from felony cases to traffic infractions, including Juvenile cases and Bad Check cases occurring within Boone County.
The county recorder prepares and furnishes official copies of any record or instruments when required by law or ordered by the court, or requested by any parties. And if requested the recorder certifies that it is a true and correct copy of the document in the records of the office.
