The ASUW Experimental College, part of the ASUW, was created in 1968 by several University of Washington students seeking to provide the campus and surrounding community with a selection of non-credit classes not offered on the university curriculum. The Experimental College ceased operation in 2017.

Harry the Husky is the athletic mascot for the University of Washington and is one of two mascots utilized by the university, with the other being the live mascot Dubs II. Harry the Husky has two other siblings: Hendrix the Husky who lives in UW Tacoma , [ 1 ] and Holly the Husky who lives in UW Bothell .
The Washington Huskies college football team represents the University of Washington in the North Division of the Pac-12 Conference (Pac-12). The Huskies compete as part of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I Football Bowl Subdivision. The program has had 31 head coaches since it began play during the 1889 season. [1]
The 1991 team is considered to be the best Washington Husky football team and among the best in college football history. The team went undefeated, winning against opponents by an average score of 42–9 in regular season, including wins over No. 9 Nebraska, No. 7 California and a 34–14 win over No. 4 Michigan in the Rose Bowl. Dubs II is the 14th official live mascot of the University of Washington. He is an Alaskan Malamute from Snohomish, Washington . [ 3 ] Unlike other animal mascots, such as the University of Georgia 's bulldog Uga , each Dubs is from a separate family tree and is not related in order to prevent inbreeding. [ 4 ]
