Face 2 Face is the debut solo studio album by Nigerian musician 2Face Idibia. [1] It was released on 15 May 2004 by Kennis Music, and was a major hit, as it sold up to 2 million copies [2] initially in Idibia's home country of Nigeria, but quickly spread through western and southern Africa, and eventually making an impact in Europe as well.
Prior to Macaulay–Idibia's acting career, she competed in the "Queen of All Nations" beauty pageant where she placed as a runner-up. She subsequently featured in the music video of 2face Idibia's "African Queen" song. Blackface was a founding member of the Nigerian band Plantashun Boyz that he formed in 2000 with 2Baba and musician Chibuzor Oji (better known as Faze).Blackface and 2Baba met during his secondary education in Benue. [2]
