Country Curtains was a retail home curtain business founded in 1956 by Jane and Jack Fitzpatrick in Whitman, Massachusetts. They started their business from their dining room table selling unbleached narrow muslin curtains. Curtain rods can be made of many materials including wood, metal and plastic. They are available in a variety of styles and designs. While many curtain rods are simple straight poles, there are also curved and hinged options. These designs facilitate installation in bay windows, around curved walls, and in corners.
