Buenaventura (Spanish for "good adventure") is the main port of Colombia in the Pacific Ocean. [2] As of the 2018 census, Buenaventura has a population of 235,064. [3]

Prisendam in the Port of Montevideo. Montevideo Bay is one of the reasons the city was founded. It gives natural protection to ships, although there are now two jetties that protect the harbour entrance of the waves.
