The Winx Club is led by Bloom, a student from Earth who, unaware of her true heritage, believes she is an average human until discovering her flame-based powers. The original group includes Stella, the Fairy of the Sun and Moon and later of the Shining Sun; Flora, the Fairy of Nature; Musa, the Fairy of Music; and Tecna, the Fairy of Technology.
The Winx, using their new and greater Enchantix powers, battle the Trix inside the Pinball Prime MiniWorld, in the quest of capturing the Compass of the Wishing Star. Every time someone is about the catch the compass, it escapes and bounces around in pinball-shaped world.
Winx Club is an animated children's television series co-produced by Rainbow SpA and later Nickelodeon. [note 1] It was created and directed by Italian animator Iginio Straffi. It premiered on 28 January 2004, becoming a ratings success in Italy and on Nickelodeon networks internationally.
In 2011, the American company Viacom became a co-owner of the Rainbow studio, [2] and Viacom's Nickelodeon began producing a Winx Club revival series. Before airing the Nick-produced episodes, Nickelodeon U.S. premiered the fourth season [ 3 ] under the title Winx Club: The Power of Believix from May 6, 2012, to July 29, 2012. [ 4 ]
