BattlEye is a proprietary anti-cheat software designed to detect players that hack or abusively use exploits in an online game.It was initially released as a third-party anti-cheat for Battlefield Vietnam in 2004 and has since been officially implemented in numerous video games, primarily shooter games such as PUBG: Battlegrounds, Arma 3, Destiny 2, War Thunder, and DayZ.
To communicate with other players in the game world, players had to use their respective console's messaging system, until an in-game text chat was added later on. Destiny 2: The Witch Queen is a major expansion for Destiny 2, a first-person shooter video game by Bungie.Representing the sixth expansion and the fifth year of extended content for Destiny 2, it was originally planned for release in late 2021, but due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the expansion was delayed by three months and was released on February 22, 2022.
Prior to the release of Destiny 2 in September 2017, Bungie said that they had already begun work on post-release content. Bungie said they planned on providing post-release content at a quicker rate than that of the original Destiny, which was criticized for not having enough content post-launch and between each of its expansions' releases.
