The School of St Jude is a charity-funded school located in the city of Arusha, in Northern Tanzania, providing free primary and secondary education to bright students from poor backgrounds. Established in 2002 by Australian Gemma Sisia , the school operates three campuses and has 1,800 students.

The school board approved a resolution to convert St. Jude School of Nursing into a college in 1973 and in 1974 a government permit officially granted the change of status. In 1977, two more buildings were constructed: the High School and what became the main building. In 1978, a three-storey elementary school was added.

In May 1999, Teodor P. Gapuz was appointed Director of St. Jude Catholic School, and John O'Mahony took over as acting parish priest of St. Jude Archdiocesan Shrine with the following parochial vicars: Isabelo San Luis, Rodgrigo Advincula, and Leopoldo C. Jaucian, with Roland Aquino as the deacon who assisted on weekends.
In 1946, the school officially opened its doors with a class of 76 freshmen. For three years, Bishop Timon – St. Jude High School was temporarily housed at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Buffalo's old First Ward. On September 6, 1949, Timon moved into its current home on McKinley Parkway with an enrollment of approximately 800 young men.
