Sivaji Ganesan in the film Neethi (1972) The filmography of Sivaji Ganesan (1928–2001) consists predominately of Tamil -language films apart from some Telugu , Malayalam and Hindi films. He is the only actor to have played the lead role in over 250 films in Tamil cinema .
