Michael Böllner (born September 14, 1958) is a German former child actor known for playing Augustus Gloop in the 1971 film Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory.He was one of two child actors from the film who never acted in another production afterwards, the other being Peter Ostrum who played Charlie Bucket.
Augustus Gloop is an obese, greedy, 9-year-old boy, the first person to find a Golden Ticket and one of the four main antagonists of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. He hails from the fictional town of Dusselheim, West Germany in the 1971 film, and Düsseldorf , Germany in the 2005 film.

The casting calls for Charlie Bucket, Violet Beauregarde, Veruca Salt, and Mike Teavee took place in the United States and United Kingdom, while Augustus Gloop's casting took place in Germany.
