State Route 138 (SR 138) is an east–west state highway in the southwestern portion of the U.S. state of Ohio. Its west terminus is at its intersection with SR 134 in Buford and its eastern terminus is at its intersection with US 22 east of Williamsport .
The route enters New Philadelphia and is surrounded by various warehouses and Ohio Department of Transportation offices. At County Route 125, SR 259 turns right onto Reiser Avenue. After 0.9 miles (1.4 km), the route reaches Brightwood Road and the ramps to and from the southbound lanes of the US 250 and SR 800 freeway.
As of the census [7] of 2010, there were 1,023 people, 342 households, and 272 families living in the village. The population density was 565.2 inhabitants per square mile (218.2/km 2).
Williamsport was laid out in 1836 by William Dakan, and named for him. [2] A nearby post office operated under the name Andrews. [3] This post office was established in 1833, and was discontinued in 1903. [4]
