Roscommon (/ r ɒ s ˈ k ɒ m ən / ross-KOM-ən) is a village in and the county seat of Roscommon County, Michigan, United States. [4] The population was 981 at the 2020 census . History
The Roscommon Theater Program has been ongoing under the direction of Annette Murray since 1992. The themes and levels of difficulty vary from year to year, but the show always proves to be a hit amidst community members and students. The shows are put on by the participating students who can be in grades 9-12.

Roscommon won the All-Ireland Senior Football Championships in 1943 and 1944 and the National Football League Division 1 in 1979, as well as Division 2 in 2015 and 2018. Roscommon have captured the Connacht Senior Football Championship on 23 occasions, the most recent being in 2019. Roscommon's main hurling title was the 2007 Nicky Rackard Cup.
Christmas off Campus is an alumni event created as an extension of the original Christmas on Campus. In 1990, through the work of Brian and Renai Lowry, the first Christmas off Campus was held by the University of Dayton's St. Louis alumni chapter. The event has now spread to many other chapters of the UD Alumni Association.
The Roscommon County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) (Irish: Cumann Lúthchleas Gael, Coiste Chontae Ros Comáin) or Roscommon GAA is one of the 32 county boards of the GAA in Ireland, and is responsible for Gaelic games in County Roscommon. The county board is also responsible for the Roscommon county teams.
O'Grady was born on 14 June 1955 at St. Catherine's Hospital in the Tranmere area of Birkenhead, Cheshire (now Merseyside). [4] His father, Patrick "Paddy" Grady (1912–1973), [5] was Irish and had grown up in Ballincurry, County Roscommon, before moving to England in 1936 and settling in the working-class area of Birkenhead.
