SMS Loreley was a vessel of the Imperial German Navy which primarily served in the Mediterranean Sea.Originally built as a steam yacht in 1885, the vessel was purchased by Germany in 1896 and was generally stationed at Constantinople, where she was used for diplomatic purposes.
