Jeremy Jason Wise (February 20, 1974 – December 30, 2009) was an American Navy SEAL and Central Intelligence Agency contractor. He was killed in a suicide bombing at Forward Operating Base Chapman in Khost, Afghanistan on December 30, 2009.

Jeremy Szal (born May 31, 1995) is an Australian space opera and fantasy author. He often describes his work as "spacepunk" or gothic space opera. [1] His first novel, Stormblood, was published by Gollancz in 2020, with the sequel Blindspace following in 2021. He has published forty short stories, and his work has appeared in nine languages.
Marcinko also delights in recalling the gross behavior of the SEALs, such as eating the brains of a live monkey to impress some of his Cambodian allies. [ 1 ] Based on the success of the book, Marcinko went on to author a series of novels placing himself as the protagonist and entitling the series Rogue Warrior .
