The gull wing, also known as Polish wing or Puławski wing, is an aircraft wing configuration with a prominent bend in the wing inner section towards the wing root. Its name is derived from the seabirds which it resembles and from the Polish aircraft designer Zygmunt Puławski who started using this design in his planes.

It was a single-seat high-performance sailplane with a span of a little under 18 metres, built of wood with a mixture of plywood and fabric covering. The Streifeneder Albatros (English: Albatross) is a German mid-wing, gull wing, T-tailed, single-seat, FAI Standard Class glider that was designed by Hansjörg Streifeneder and produced by his company Glasfaser Flugzeug-Service GmbH.
