The school district operates the following schools: [1] Ellsworth Junior/Senior High School; Kanopolis Middle School; Ellsworth Elementary School; Clubs and organizations at the Junior Senior High include Future Farmers America, National Honor Society, Art Club, Band and flags, the Student Council, Ellsworth Singers, the Choir and Spanish Club.
Naperville Community Unit School District 203 serves central and northern Naperville as well as portions of the neighboring Lisle and Bolingbrook. [1] The oldest District 203 building still in use is Ellsworth Elementary, constructed in 1928, [2] while the newest is the Ann Reid Early Childhood Center, opened in 2010.
In 2003, Kathryn Sue Simonton Elementary School opened, marking the first modern elementary school in the district. All Combs USD students attended the new site. New schools quickly opened after that: Jack W. Harmon Elementary in 2005, Ellsworth Elementary and a new JO Combs Middle School in 2007, and Ranch Elementary in 2008.
Bentworth Middle School serves students 5th–8th grade with a student-teacher ratio of 14:1. Bentworth High School; The elementary and high schools are located in Bentleyville Borough while the middle school is located nearby in Somerset Township. Additionally, the District maintains an athletic field in Ellsworth.
Ensworth was founded as an elementary and middle school in 1958. In 1959 kindergarten was added. [9] The Ensworth High School campus was built after a fund-raising campaign that raised nearly 60 million dollars. This also benefited the Lower and Middle Schools. The High School began classes in 2004, and its first senior class graduated in 2008.
All middle school students in grades 4-6 attend Sto-Rox Upper Elementary in Kennedy Township. The state-of-the-art modern building was constructed in 2002. Ellsworth Community High School offers a wide range of class selections in subjects including English, Mathematics, Science, History, Social Studies, Music, Physical Education, Agricultural Sciences, Technical Education, Family and Consumer Education, and Business and Marketing. Advanced Placement classes are available.
Wicomico County Public Schools is the public school district for Wicomico County, Maryland.
