Lester Park Golf Course is one of two public golf courses located in the port city of Duluth, Minnesota. [1] The original eighteen-hole golf course was made up the north shore of Duluth, near the Lester River. The golf course was established in 1934.
The course is owned by the City of Edina, a first-ring suburban community of Minneapolis. Braemar was listed by Golf Digest as the number one public course in Minnesota in 1984, and has been ranked as one of the best public courses in the United States. [1] In 1969, Braemar hosted the final edition of the Minnesota Golf Classic on the PGA Tour.
