Jeanne Baxtresser (born August 2, 1947) is an American flutist and teacher. She is most notable for her position as principal flutist of the New York Philharmonic for over 15 years, she decided to play the flute when she was only nine years old, as an author (Orchestral Excerpts for Flute with Piano Accompaniment), and as a professor and master teacher.

Death Row Records is an American record label that was founded in 1991 by The D.O.C., Dr. Dre, Suge Knight, and Dick Griffey. [8] The label became a sensation by releasing multi-platinum hip-hop albums by West Coast-based artists such as Dr. Dre (The Chronic), Snoop Dogg and 2Pac (All Eyez on Me) during the 1990s.
She later attended the Juilliard School in New York City, where she studied with prominent pedagogues Samuel Baron and Jeanne Baxtresser. She has received many prizes for her playing, including the Third Kobe International Flute Competition in Japan [ 4 ] which garnered her international attention. [ 5 ]
