Juniata County is a county in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.As of the 2020 census, the population was 23,509. [1] Its county seat is Mifflintown. [2] The county was created on March 2, 1831, from part of Mifflin County and named for the Juniata River.

Mifflinburg Historic District is a national historic district located at Mifflinburg, Union County, Pennsylvania. The district includes 233 contributing buildings in the central business district and surrounding residential areas of Mifflinburg. [2] It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. [1]
The district is one of the 500 public school districts of Pennsylvania. According to the Pennsylvania Budget and Policy Center, 40.6% of the district's pupils lived at 185% or below the Federal Poverty Level as shown by their eligibility for the federal free or reduced price school meal programs in 2012. [3]
