The Hebron Lions compete in the Georgia High School Association as a AAA school. The sports teams use the nickname Lions, and the mascot is Judah the Lion. The girls' basketball team won the 2020-2021 GHSA Class A Private State Championship. [3] [4]
Hebron began as a small town church in 1842. [1] At the time, the congregation was no larger than a few families, as were most country churches. Hebron High School - 2010. The school opened in 1999, originally only serving two grade levels and 498 students; [4] eventually, the school would expand to serve grades nine through twelve. In 2010, the Hebron High School 9th Grade Campus was opened adjacent to the main campus to relieve stress caused by a growing student body.
