Suzanne M. LaFrance (born 1968 or 1969) [2] is an American businesswoman and politician from the state of Alaska. She is the 38th mayor of Anchorage , having unseated incumbent mayor Dave Bronson in the 2024 election .
He was the Majority Leader of the Alaska Independent Democratic Coalition. Previously, Tuck served on the Anchorage School Board. [1] Tuck had run unsuccessfully for the State House in 2004 and 2006 before winning election in 2008. [2] In June 2023, Tuck announced that he would run for mayor of Anchorage in the 2024 election.
