"Sailing on the Seven Seas" is a song by English electronic music band Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark (OMD), released on 18 March 1991 by Virgin as the first single from their eighth studio album, Sugar Tax (1991).
The single was released as a 7-inch single and a 12-inch single. The A-side of the 7-inch single was the title track, "Seven Seas", and the B-side was a live cover version of the Beatles' song "All You Need Is Love". The A-side of the 12-inch single consisted of the title track and "All You Need Is Love".

Initially "Seven Seas of Rhye" was simply an "instrumental musical sketch closing their first album". [6] An expanded rendition, planned to be included on the album Queen II, was publicly premiered when Queen was offered a sudden chance to appear on the BBC's Top of the Pops in February 1974, and was rushed to vinyl two days later on 22 February.
