All things related to The Witcher - books, games, TV... You name it. The Witcher is a critically acclaimed fantasy book series created by Andrzej Sapkowski. The series follows Geralt of Rivia, a monster hunter in a universe where people often prove more wicked than beasts.
The Witcher 3 is nicely self contained but i think the Witcher 2 is a good lead into the 3rd game as it sets up the world state. The Nilfgaardian Invasion, the Mage Pogroms and the political backdrop of the North all have their roots in the events of Witcher 2.
The Witcher 3 has a clear story that you have to uncover by progressing through the game, but also lots of smaller minisized stories with their own characters that require 1 or several quests to finish. Bottom line, the Witcher 3 is a story based adventure and the Elden Ring is an action based adventure.
Played the game all the way 3 or 4 times before but always on low difficulty as I hate losing save data when I’ve spent ages looting the remote corners. This time though, I plan to up the difficulty, I’m looking for tips to handle early to mid game from experienced players who play on the hardest difficulty.

in user \Documents\The Witcher 3. FSR2 + DRS is the BEST anti aliasing in witcher 3. the quality setting has some impact on performance. It reduces fps to improve picture quality. It looks similar to downsampling (to calculate at higher resolution than monitor then to scale the result to the monitor) but with the FSR algorithm. NOT BLURRY.
