Matplotlib (portmanteau of MATLAB, plot, and library [3]) is a plotting library for the Python programming language and its numerical mathematics extension NumPy.It provides an object-oriented API for embedding plots into applications using general-purpose GUI toolkits like Tkinter, wxPython, Qt, or GTK.
In Python NumPy arrays implement the flatten method, [note 1] while in R the desired effect can be achieved via the c() or as.vector() functions. In R , function vec() of package 'ks' allows vectorization and function vech() implemented in both packages 'ks' and 'sn' allows half-vectorization.
Flattenability in some -dimensional normed vector space is a property of graphs which states that any embedding, or drawing, of the graph in some high dimension ′ can be "flattened" down to live in -dimensions, such that the distances between pairs of points connected by edges are preserved.
UpSet plots are a data visualization method for showing set data with more than three intersecting sets. UpSet shows intersections in a matrix, with the rows of the matrix corresponding to the sets, and the columns to the intersections between these sets (or vice versa). The size of the sets and of the intersections are shown as bar charts.
If just 2 columns are being swapped within 1 table, then cut/paste editing (of those column entries) is typically faster than column-prefixing, sorting and de-prefixing. Another alternative is to copy the entire table from the displayed page, paste the text into a spreadsheet, move the columns as you will.
The row space of this matrix is the vector space spanned by the row vectors. The column vectors of a matrix. The column space of this matrix is the vector space spanned by the column vectors. In linear algebra, the column space (also called the range or image) of a matrix A is the span (set of all possible linear combinations) of its column ...
After flattening, arrays are represented as single-dimensional value vector V containing scalar elements, alongside auxiliary information recording the nested structure, typically in the form of a boolean flag vector F. The flag vector indicates, for the corresponding element in the value vector, whether it is the beginning of a new segment.
