RE: Saginaw River-Fishing Reports Skeeter - A couple of Buddies of mine fished yesterday (Friday),got 6 keepers + a bunch of Dinks. Water is still flowing pretty good, with visability about 10 " - very fishable.
Lots of guys fish Lake Erie for walleye out of Sterling State Park. I do better in Saginaw Bay but Erie is closer to you. For trout there are a number of good streams 3 hours north of you. Do some research and you will be rewarded. Michigan Sportsman is the site to go to for this and more.
Michigan - Saginaw Bay 7.23.22 Members Fishing Reports. Had to go to my Moms, which was 1/2 to Saginaw Bay. So figured I would take the boat as well, and go fishing.
The Michigan DNR made changes, effective Oct. 8, to the minimum size and possession limits for walleyes in Lake Huron's Saginaw Bay and the Saginaw River upstream to the Center Ave. bridge. The minimum size has been reduced from 15" to 13". The daily possession limit has been increased from 5 to 8 walleyes.
Just wondering if anyone is headed to the bay this coming weekend?? We are leaving Thursday night and will be fishing till Sunday afternoon. Anyone have updates on conditions as far as what's working best atm.
