The stadium opened in 2018, with the Wildcats playing their first season there in 2019. It has 2,500 fixed seats, with grass berm seating adding an additional 1,500-plus to the total capacity.
The annual tournament determines the tournament champion of Division I Conference USA in college baseball. The tournament champion will then earn the conference's automatic bid to the 2021 NCAA Division I baseball tournament.
