The Triennale di Milano is a museum of art and design in the Parco Sempione in Milan, in Lombardy in northern Italy. It is housed in the Palazzo dell'Arte [ it ] , built between 1931 and 1933 to designs by Giovanni Muzio and financed by Antonio Bernocchi and his brothers Andrea and Michele.
The name formally stands for Quartiere Triennale 8, but the district is also simply referred to as QT8. [ 1 ] QT8 developed from an experimental urbanization project that was conceived during the 8th edition of the Triennale di Milano design exhibition that was held in 1947, at the beginning of the reconstruction of Milan after World War II .
