Mumm-Rana (voiced by Lynne Lipton in the original series, Kaitlyn Robrock in ThunderCats Roar) is an ancient sorceress and counterpart of Mumm-Ra. She lives in the White Pyramid where her powers, apparently bestowed upon her by "the Ancient Spirits of Goodness", prevent her from traveling too far.
In the midst of battle Mumm-Ra tries to assert dominance now he, in ash form, has been bonded to Skeletor. Skeletor tells Mumm-Ra to back off as he is fighting Mumm-Ra's mortal enemies but it is too late. Lion-O realizes the two are bonded and uses Mumm-Ra's weakness against his own reflection to drive Skeletor off and retrieve the Power Sword.
ThunderCats is a media franchise, featuring a fictional group of cat-like humanoid aliens.The characters were created by Tobin Wolf and featured in an animated television series named ThunderCats, running from 1985 to 1989, which was animated by Japanese studio Pacific Animation Corporation, and co-produced by Rankin/Bass Productions.
The company went on to produce premium format ThunderCats statues (1:4 scale, over 30 inches) of Lion-O and Mumm-Ra. Prototypes of Cheetara and Tygra were developed and displayed online and at San Diego Comic-Con, respectively, but did not reach minimum pre-order thresholds. The prototypes were donated to the ThunderCats Museum in 2014.
