The 2020–21 V-League season is the 17th season of the V-League, the highest professional volleyball league in South Korea.The season started in October 2020. Seoul Woori Card Wibee were the first placed male team when the season was cancelled last year and Suwon Hyundai E&C Hillstate were the first placed female team.

Suwon Hyundai Engineering & Construction Hillstate (Korean: 수원 현대건설 힐스테이트) is a South Korean professional volleyball team. The team was founded in 1977 and became fully professional in 2005. They are based in Suwon and are members of the Korea Volleyball Federation (KOVO). Their home arena is Suwon Gymnasium in Suwon.

The 2021–22 V-League season was the 18th season of the V-League, the highest professional volleyball league in South Korea. The season ran from October 2021 to April 2022. Incheon Korean Air Jumbos were the defending champions for male teams and GS Caltex Seoul KIXX for the female teams.
The KOVO Cup is a professional volleyball competition in Korea hosted by the Korea Volleyball Federation (KOVO). This competition is played in a format of round-robin matches followed by a knock-out stage as the CEV Champions League. It is held from July to September before the V-League. The competition is held in a centralized venue each year.
GS Caltex Seoul Kixx (Korean: GS칼텍스 서울 Kixx) is a South Korean women's volleyball team. The team is based in Seoul and plays in the V-League. It is currently owned by GS Sports, and its main sponsor is GS Caltex, a subsidiary of GS Group. The club was founded in 1970 as Honam Petrochemical Volleyball Team.
In 1983, the team were established as Hyundai Motor Service Men's Volleyball Team. They had won the Korea Volleyball Super League five times between 1986 and 1995. In 2002, they were refounded as Hyundai Capital Men's Volleyball team. After the foundation of the professional league in 2005, they won their first championship in the 2005–06 season.
