Bronx River Road is a major street and neighborhood in Yonkers, New York. It runs alongside the Bronx River, Bronx River Parkway, and Metro-North railroad tracks in south-eastern Yonkers. On the other side of the Bronx River is the City of Mount Vernon, New York as well as the Bronx.

The project consists of six 8-story buildings with 693 apartment units. It covers 16.87 acres (6.83 ha) and is bordered by Tompkins Avenue, and Broad, Hill, Warren and Gordon Streets. It is owned and managed by New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) and is the largest NYCHA development in Staten Island.

Public School No. 13 is a historic school building located in the Park Hill neighborhood of Yonkers, Westchester County, New York. It was built in 1900, with additions in 1905 and 1910. It is a 3½-story, asymmetrical, steel- and wood-frame building in a Neoclassical style. It has stone, brick, and structural clay tile walls.
The 1940s saw public housing expand to Staten Island, and the Berry Houses were completed on October 30, 1950. [1] [3] It was designed by Alfred Mosher Butts [4] and named after Brig. Gen. Charles W. Berry (1871–1941), who was both a soldier and a physician.
