Woodstock’s Air Rail opened to the public on April 7, 2001 [3] as Rugrats Runaway Reptar. This was Kings Island's fourth kids' coaster earning the park the title: "Kid's Coaster Capital of the World!". That same year, the Kings Mills Log Flume was refurbished and rethemed to Nickelodeon and was named The Wild Thornberry's River Adventure.
Rugrats Runaway Reptar at Kings Island "Rugrats Runaway Reptar" was the name given to a trio of Suspended Family Coasters designed by Peter Clerx [7] for the Vekoma company. The first of the three coasters debuted in 2001 at Kings Island, and the years 2002 and 2003 saw its counterparts open at Dreamworld and Carowinds, respectively.
The roller coaster was the third of its type in the world and the first in the Southern Hemisphere. [3] Towards the middle of 2011, Nickelodeon Central started to be rethemed into Kid's World. The Suspended Family Coaster debuted in 2001 with the Rugrats Runaway Reptar opening at Kings Island in Ohio, USA, [1] and Silver Streak at sister park Canada's Wonderland. [2] Several clones and variations have opened since. [3] The original designs featured trains with a safety system consisting of over-the-shoulder restraints.

The coaster was given new yellow and green seats, and it was named Green Slime Mine Car in 1995. One Smurf house managed to survive, and it can still be seen in the Picnic Grove area. In 2002, Paramount Parks repainted the coaster orange and re-themed it as Rugrats Runaway Reptar.
