Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic School (SHJCS) is a private Catholic school located in Santa Mesa, Manila, beside this is the Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish. The school's name is named after their parish patron, Sacred Heart of Jesus, as well as St. Margaret Mary Alacoque. The school was formerly known as Sta. Mesa Parochial School.

Sacred Heart College, the oldest Catholic institution for men and women in Quezon Province, was founded on April 27, 1884. The school had its roots in the vision of a simple and saintly woman named Fausta Labrador y Zarsadias who, at the age of 26, opened a Charity school to form the youth according to the ideals of the Catholic faith.
In July 1946, the name of the institute was changed to Sacred Heart Junior College and later in 1948 it was changed again to Sacred Heart College. By 1950, the school received government recognition of its high school program and in 1992, it started to offer five undergraduate programs. SMCC currently provides Basic and Higher Education programs.
