The Metropolitan Courthouse is a courthouse in downtown Albuquerque, New Mexico, housing the Bernalillo County Metropolitan Court. The building is located on the northwest corner of 4th Street and Lomas Boulevard in an area known as the Courthouse District. The courthouse rises 175 feet (53 m) and has nine stories. [3]
Since its completion it has been joined at the intersection of Fourth and Lomas by two additional courthouses, the Bernalillo County Courthouse on the southwest corner and the Metropolitan Courthouse on the northwest corner. The seven-story courthouse is 176 feet (54 m) tall, placing it tenth on the list of Albuquerque's tallest buildings.
The northern town line is the border of Yates County. The town is northwest of Watkins Glen. New York State Route 14 is a major north-south highway that parallels nearby Seneca Lake, which marks the eastern town line. New York State Route 14A intersects New York State Route 226 in the northwestern part of the town at Coles Corners.

According to police, the suspect Nehemiah Griego, 15 years old, shot and killed his parents and three siblings at their house in South Valley, New Mexico, near Albuquerque. First he shot his mother around midnight, with a .22 rifle. He said his younger brother Zephaniah woke up, and Griego told him he had shot their mother.
