Hastings (/ ˈ h eɪ s t ɪ ŋ s / HAY-stings) is a city in the U.S. state of Michigan. It is the county seat of Barry County, as well as the county's only city. The Barry County Courthouse is a government building located at 220 West State Street in Hastings, Michigan. It was designated a Michigan State Historic Site in 1969 [2] and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1981. [1]
