Sabah is a Turkish daily newspaper, with a circulation of around 330,000 as of 2011. Its name means "morning" in Turkish . The newspaper was founded in İzmir by Dinç Bilgin on 22 April 1985.

The Daily Sabah was established in 2014 when a highly-antagonistic political climate reigned in Turkish politics.After the conflict in December 2013 between the Gulen movement, a religious civil society organization with some political aspirations, and the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP), the Gulen movement's Today's Zaman turned into an ardent critic of the ruling AKP.

By the 1930s Es-Sabah was the last remaining Judeo-Arabic newspaper in the country. At the turn of the century, however, Tunisia had hosted a vivid Judeo-Arabic press. [3] As of 1937 Simon Cohen was the director of Es-Sabah. [1] Es-Sabah, along with other Jewish publications in Tunisia, was suppressed by the Vichy regime in October 1940. [2]
