Emmanuel "Manu" Kouadio Koné (born 17 May 2001) is a French professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Serie A club Roma, on loan from Bundesliga club Borussia Mönchengladbach, and the France national team.
A graduate of JMG Academy, Koné played for Bamako-based club Guidars. [1] He played for Mali at the 2023 U-17 Africa Cup of Nations, where his performances helped Mali to a fourth-place finish, as well as earning Koné a place in the team of the tournament. [2]
Koné was born in Abidjan, Ivory Coast. [3] In 2010, he moved to Canada with his mother at age 7, growing up in Montreal. [4] [5] Two years later, he began playing youth soccer with the AS Notre-Dame-de-Grâce Panthers.

A youth product of Torcy, Koné transferred to Le Havre in 2020 and began playing with their reserves. [2] He made appearances on the bench for the senior team in 2021, and on 1 July 2022 signed a 3-year professional contract with the club. [3]
