Volvo has teased a luxurious electric minivan called the EM90 that will spearhead a wave of EVs from the Swedish carmaker over the next several years.
The Volvo EM90 shares the platform with the Zeekr 009 with the front and rear end restyled exclusively for the Volvo brand. It offers six seats in 2+2+2 layout with a Sofaro first-class airline seats included headrest speakers, ventilation, massage, and heating functions to enhance comfort, it also equipped with a roof-mounted 17-inch OLED rear screen and 21 Bowers & Wilkins speakers.
The Kia PV5 is an upcoming battery electric van PBV that will debut in early 2025. [1] The design was previewed when Kia unveiled its purpose-built vehicle concepts, including the PV5, in January 2024.
The minivan is powered by a 102.7 kWh Qilin battery produced by a CATL that supports 5C ultra-fast charging. The Mega has a double-wishbone front suspension and a multi-link setup in the rear, with air suspension with continuous damper control. [4] According to Li Auto, the minivan is able to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) in 5.5 seconds. [5] [6]
These EVs aren't for sale yet but are in various stages from concept to production, and perhaps a few may never see the light of day.
The 5.3 m (17 ft)-long LEVC L380 is based on LEVC's Space Oriented Architecture platform for large vehicles codeveloped with Geely. The L380 is powered by a single 200 kW (270 hp) motor produced by Viridi E-Mobility Technology Co. and a nickel-cobalt-manganate battery pack supplied by CATL. [4]
