Shinyribs began in 2007 as a solo side project of singer/guitar player Kevin Russell, then of longtime Austin band The Gourds. [1] At first "Shinyribs" referred to Russell personally in connection with his solo shows, but Russell later performed under the name "Shinyribs" in a band with other musicians, such as Gourds bandmate, drummer Keith Langford.
That year they released an album, Bull on the band's own label. [12] In 1993, the band released the album Sleeping Bootie. The song "Sorry Whole" was released as a single and reached #1 on the RPM Cancon chart. Touring for the Sleeping Bootie album, Bootsauce played the Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver for the first time on February 4th 1994. [13]
Anti-Pasti was a British punk rock band, founded by vocalist Martin Roper and guitarist Dugi Bell in 1978, featuring Kev Nixon on drums and Will Hoon on bass guitar. Later they were joined by a second guitarist, Ollie Hoon.

In 1946 the band was named Hammonds Sauce Band who came under the sponsorship of Hammonds Sauce Works in Shipley. They remained with this name for many years until Hammonds Sauce Works itself folded. Brown Sauce was a pop band, made up of presenters from the television programme, Multi-Coloured Swap Shop. These were Keith Chegwin, Maggie Philbin and Noel Edmonds. They formed for a one-off single in late 1981 called "I Wanna Be a Winner". After that became a hit, they released another in 1982, "Spring Has Sprung", but failed to make an impact.
