During the conversation, Crocodile's messengers, the otter, and its partner, the vulture, called the Unluckies, arrive to deliver an eternal pose, leading to Alabasta, to Mr. 3. They attack Sanji, but he defeats them. To justify the noisy interruption, Sanji tells Mr. 0 that one of the Straw Hats was still alive.

The Straw Hats attack Arlong Park, during which Buggy reclaims his body and flees. Realizing that Arlong's tower contains 8 years of Nami's painful memories, an enraged Luffy destroys the tower, crushes Arlong, and frees Coco village. Nezumi calls Garp to arrest the Straw Hats; Koby and Helmeppo refuse to arrest them, knowing they are innocent.

Out of immediate danger, Vivi tells the Straw Hats that Mr. 0 (in charge of Baroque Works) plans to use the organization to overthrow her country and reveals his true identity: Sir Crocodile – like Mihawk, a member of the government-sanctioned Seven Warlords of the Sea pirate group.
