It is the fourth game in the Barbie Horse Adventures video game series based on the Barbie line of dolls by Mattel. The game was released worldwide for PlayStation 2, Nintendo DS, Wii and Windows in 2008.
In their review, AllGame gave the game 3 and half stars out of a possible 5, complimenting its replay value and the vast combinations of styles and accessories, as well as the "well-designed gameplay".
